Cork embraces Quinta da Pacheca!
Quinta da Pacheca is today a benchmark in the Douro wine region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, producing some of the best wines in the region.
Following an extraordinary renovation project designed and carried out by #AlbinoMiranda, the winery has been completely revitalized, creating a remarkable environment where design, comfort, winemaking tradition, and cork harmoniously coexist.
To achieve this vision, #AlbinoMiranda chose Sedacor/JPSCorkGroup’ and its CORKINSU®panels, to whom we are deeply grateful.
Those natural, circular-economy materials have made the space more attractive and welcoming, providing both thermal and acoustic comfort, as well as helping to reduce CO2 emissions. The cork panels were adapted and sculpted into the ceilings and walls in an organic, unifying concept that evokes Mother Earth and the roots of ancient vines.
The result is a fusion of nature, heritage, and eco-design of Portuguese origin, forming a unique and inspiring connection between great wines and cork.
Here, cork both insulates and artistically envelops the space where great wines rest, even before bottling (also with cork), delivering memorable experiences and contributing to Quinta da Pacheca’s status as one of the most visited places in the region. The estate continues to earn numerous international distinctions, standing out as one of the best wine tourism destinations.
