On May 8th, the AEP – Associação Empresarial de Portugal (Portuguese Business Association) marked the end of its 175th anniversary celebrations by distinguishing JORGE PINTO DE SÁ, LDA, in the person of its Chairman, Mr. JORGE PINTO DE SÁ, LDA. Jorge Pinto de Sá, for completing 50 years of association membership, which began on November 4, 1974 at the then Associação Industrial Portuense.

Mecanarte – Metalúrgica da Lagoa, Socitrel – Sociedade Industrial de Trefilaria, SA, were also honored for their 50 years of membership, as well as three honorary members (INESC-TEC, Dr. Elisa Ferreira and Dr. Francisco Pinto Balsemão), in the presence of AEP’s governing bodies and some guests.
